Baar 16.01.2017: " lnterholco AG" has officially joined the 95 members
of the Congo Basin Forests Partnership (CBFP). As part of the accession
process, lnterholco AG submitted the required documents and agreed to
abide by the CBFP members’ cooperation framework in promoting
sustainable management of forest ecosystems in Central Africa.

Our FLEGT team is currently seeking both
national and international consultants and advisers with experience
working in the Congo Basin, as well as skills in the forestry sector,
governance of natural resources, diplomacy and facilitation of
multi-stakeholder processes, for a variety of short and long term
missions on projects in the Congo Basin and other regions of
French-speaking Africa.

the delivery of services to support the Central African Forest
Commission (COMIFAC) through the COMIFAC Executive Secretariat in
Cameroon for the Promotion of Certified Forest Exploitation.
University of Wolverhampton, Centre for
International Development and Training (CIDT) is looking to recruit an
M&E firm to provide services over the lifetime of our recently
commissioned 4 year project – Citizen Voices for Change: Congo Basin
Forest Monitoring Project. The M&E services will , include a
baseline study in the first quarter of year 1, mid-term review at the
beginning of year 3 and final evaluation following the end of the
project in year 4.
The main function of this job is to
design, coordinate and implement TRAFFIC’s Demand reduction work in Viet
Nam through a behaviour change approach targeting current and future
consumers of endangered wildlife products including rhino horn, in
conjunction with relevant TRAFFIC and WWF national, regional and
international programmes, offices, and partners.
This position is responsible for
undertaking relevant research on wildlife trade, within the Central
Africa regions. The role holder will identify actions designed to reduce
illegal or unsustainable trade within Africa and between Africa, Asia,
other regions and major international wildlife markets. Work will
require applying an insight-led, results-oriented and collaborative
approach.
The Central Africa and Great Lakes
Directorate (DACGL) of the Agence universitaire de la francophonie (AUF)
is inviting applications from its member institutions region-wide. Aim:
To support institutions in strengthening training through
professionalization, pedagogical innovation and employability of young
